Motorcycle Towing

Two wheels loaded upright and strapped like it matters. Because it does.

A motorcycle on a flatbed is the easiest thing in the world to get wrong. Too much strap tension flattens the fork seals. A strap over the wrong part of a fairing cracks it. A bike that is not chocked upright will lie down at the first hard turn. We load bikes upright, chocked at the front wheel, with tie-downs on the frame and triple clamp area rather than anything cosmetic.

Upright, chocked, and cross-strapped

The front wheel goes into a chock, the bars are held square, and the straps pull down and outward so the bike cannot walk on the deck.

Fork protection

We do not compress the front end to full travel and leave it there for a thirty-mile ride. Seals cost more than the tow.

Touring bikes and cruisers

Heavy dressers with hard luggage need more hands and more planning. Tell the dispatcher what the bike is and we will bring what it needs.

FAQ

Common questions about motorcycle towing

Do you carry a wheel chock?
Yes. A bike should never travel leaning on a side stand and we do not move them that way.
Can you collect a bike that will not roll?
Usually yes, with a winch and enough hands. Say so on the phone so we plan for it.
Is the bike insured while it is on your truck?
Ask the dispatcher about current coverage when you book. We will give you a direct answer.
