Light Duty Towing

Cars, crossovers, pickups and vans on a clean flatbed.

Most of what we move fits on the deck of a rollback: a daily driver that quit at a red light, a crossover with a shredded tire, a work van that will not crank in the morning. A flatbed keeps all four wheels off the road, which is the only sensible way to move an all-wheel-drive car, a lowered car, or anything with a drivetrain you would rather not gamble on.

What we tow

Sedans, coupes, crossovers, SUVs, half-ton and three-quarter-ton pickups, minivans and cargo vans. If it rolls onto a deck and stays inside the rails, we can take it.

Why flatbed first

A wheel-lift is faster to hook, but it drags two wheels down the road. On a rollback the vehicle rides static and strapped, so nothing is added to the repair bill between the breakdown and the shop door.

How the vehicle is secured

Eight-point wheel-lift straps through the wheels, ratcheted down at each corner, plus safety chains. We photograph the load before we roll. That habit protects the customer and it protects us.

What is included

  • Rollback flatbed, not a hook-and-chain
  • Wheel straps through the rim, never over the bodywork
  • Non-running, no-key and flat-tire vehicles handled
  • Dealership, body shop, auction and residential drop-offs
  • Condition photos taken before every haul

FAQ

Common questions about light duty towing

Can you tow a car that will not shift out of park?
Yes. We use skates or dollies under the locked wheels and winch the vehicle onto the deck. Tell the dispatcher when you call so the right gear is already on the truck.
Will a flatbed damage a lowered car?
No. A rollback deck tilts to a shallow angle and we can add ramp extensions. Lowered cars are exactly the case a flatbed exists for.
Do you tow all-wheel-drive vehicles?
Yes, and they should always go on a flatbed. Towing an AWD car with two wheels on the ground can destroy the transfer case.
